Long Beach Bombers starting goaltender Justin Peyton and WSHL All-start defenseman Curtis Fisher have both committed to attend New York University (NYU).

Both players were recruited to NYU by Head Coach Chris Cosentino at the Western States Hockey League Showcase in December 2010.  Both players should be able to jump right in and contribute their freshmen year to the success of the team.

NYU, one of the most prestigious universities in the country and located on 5 campuses in New York City, will be the home for Peyton and Fisher for the next 4 years.  Both team members had outstanding careers with the Bombers and will be missed as they move up to college life.  Each have the academic necessities of high GPA and Test Scores which made the recruiting possible.  An education and degree from NYU has a significant life changing possibility, with the opportunity to major in one of thirteen areas of study.

NYU Ice Hockey plays its home games at the rink on the river at the SKY Rink at Chelsea Piers.
