The Rampage move another Player to NCAA

Kirby.JPG The management of the Tulsa Rampage are pleased to announce that Kent Kirby will be advancing to the NCAA Division III level for the upcoming season.  After a successful season as a winger on the team's red line, he will be traveling to Massachusetts to join the Bison Hockey program at Nichols college for the fall semester.

Kirby joined the Rampage at the beginning of the season as a veteran junior player after playing a season with the Twin Bridges Lightning Junior program in the Minnesota Junior Hockey League.  That veteran leadership was a significant benefit to the Rampage as Kirby notched 29 goals and 17 assists for a total of 46 points in only 39 regular season games.  He added to his point total in the post season with an additional 2 goals and 1 assist in the team's two playoff rounds. "Kirby was a big asset to me this season and I know that he'll do well at the DIII level too," Coach MacLeod notes "he works hard, is a great kid, and really deserves the opportunity." That sentiment is echoed by general manager Julie Wilson.  "Its a pleasure to watch Kirby play because every time he's on the ice, something exciting happens" she says "he's an aggressive player and really has what it takes to succeed at the next level."
